Burdick were shocked, says the Telegraph and Messenger, Friday morning to learn of her death, which occured at one o'clock, after u short illness. The de ceased was well known in the city anil much loved by her friends. She was taken suddenly ill on Thursday night aud expired in about two hours. She had been in ill health for some time. The immediate cause of her death,how ever was 8uppossed to have been con gestion. The funeral services took place from her late residence on Plum street.
