county, took place at the residence
ot Mrs. Bartlett^ on last Fiiday
night.

John Childrews 23 years of age,to
Mrs. Bartlett, 69 years of age
wife ot the late James 8. Bartlett,
whose death occurred about three
months ago.
Mr. Childrews is a poor hut wor
thy young man who Has for several
years past been an employe of Mr.
Baitlett. Mrs. B., being a lady
of considerable wealth, has agreed
to thoroughly educate her hus
band, ana he is now in attendance
at Butler Female College and Male
institute. May peace and comfort
attend them the remainder of their
lives.
