RED CROSS DRIVE
AROUSES INTEREST.
The Red Cross drive which
begun Monday, is arousing con
siderable interest and enthusi
asm.
Reynolds has been called upon
to raise her quota in this great
work, and we feel sure that our
people will respond to the call by
increasing the amount asked for
one hundred per cent.
We feel that it is uselss to
stress the inmportance of the
Red Cross work, as our people
understand the vital necessity
of this most important feature
of winning the war by giving
aid to the sick and wounded, and
by alleviating distress wherever
found.
The Reynolds chapter Red
Cross has manifested greater
intrest perhaps in sewing, knit
ting, preparing boxes, itc., for
soldiers, than any othre chapter
in this section of the state, while
little has been said publicly
about the great work this chap
ter has done.
In the first drive we exceeded
our assessment by several hun
dred dollars. Now let us go “over
the top” one hundred per cent on
the amount we are asked to
raise this week. We can do it
and no one he hurt.
Building Occupied by the Walker
Pharmacy Changes Hands.
Mi ScM Gfssiag,
The Walker Pharmacy build
ing, or perhaps better known as
the Hill Drug Store property,
has recently been purchasd by
Dr. T. G. Turk, Dr. S. H. Bryan
and Mr. H. K. Sealy. The fix
tures tothe building only are in
cluded in the purchase. Dr.
Walker, who has been occupy
ing the building for the past
year or two with a stock of
drugs, etc., has moved his stock
elsewhere.
A force of workmen are now
engaged in renovating and im
proving the interior of the build
ing, ready for occupancy soon.
It is the purpose of the new
vert it into a drug store that will
owners of the property to con-
be second to none-in this section
of the state.
These gentlemen have been
very successful in their chosen
profession, and there is every
reason to believe- that they will
be equally as fovtunate in their
new venture, in which they' will
invest several thousand dollars
in the purchase of their new-
stock of goods which will be com
plete in each department.
They hope to be able to open
their doors ready for business :
by June 1st.

A Bilious Attack.
When you have a bilious attack
your liver fails to perform its func
tions. You become constipated. The
food you eat ferments in your
stomach instead of digesting. This
inflames the stomach and causes
nausea, vomiting and a terrible head
ache. Take Chamherlain’s Tablets.
They will tone up your liver, clean
out your stomach and you will soon
