Announcing a new
production record
2,000,000 Chevrolet Sixes now on the road
Since January, 1929, Chevrolet has produced and
6old over 2,000,000 six-cylinder automobiles—
nearly five times as many as any other manu
facturer has ever built in an equal length of time.
These 2,000,000 buyers have chosen Chevrolet
because it offers many desirable qualities not ob
tainable in any other car so low in price—
—the smoothness, silence and flexibility of a mod
em six-cylinder engine—the comfort and roada
bility of a modern, full-length chassis—and the
style, safety and distinction of bodies by Fisher.
Yet, despite these fine car advantages, the Chev
rolet Six is unusually economical. Its gas, oil,
tire and upkeep economy is unsurpassed. And

IN MEMORY
On July 19, 1930 the death angel
took from from his home the wife of
Mr. Frank Callier. Mrs. Callier was
born in Taylor county April 5, 1890.
She was before her marriage Miss
Lorinza Christopher, daughter of Mr.
John and and Mrs. Frances Christo
pher of Taylor county. She was mar
ried to Mr. Callier of Talbot county,
in March 1909 .She was a devoted
wife and mother.
Surviving Mrs. Callier are her hus
band, five children, her parents, four
brothers and two sisters.
Her illness was of short duration,
only a few hours. The reaper came
and plucked from this earth amid
the tears of those who sit by her bed
side, anxiously hoping she would be
spared. The writer had known her for
20 years. It has always seemed to me
that in her was personified integrity
generosity and kindness. In all my
personal knowledge of her nothing
amiss in her character was ever seen
nor did I ever know her to speak un
kindly of any one. The spirit of this
gcod lady took its flight from earth
to heaven and now there is an aching
void in the circle that is filled with
grief and sorrow that human sympa
thy is vain in comforting the hearts
which are sorely bereaved. Would
that God would so direct us that we
might say something to sooth t^e
broken hnrts made sad by the death oC
Mrs. Callier. To Mr. Callier and chil
dren our hearts go out in sympathy.
May God bless ami comfort them and
may they look up to Jesus for commu
tation in all their sadness and sorrow.
I The funeral occurred Sunday at 11
o’clock with Rev. Henry Lumpkin in
■ charge. Interment in Hays cemetery.
* —Her Aunt, Lyda.
