TREES
Rosalind Finger, Miami, Fla.
O lovely are ' these green teafe l
boughs,
How sweet the nightingale sings
And by it goes the farmers’ plows;
As the swaying leaves doth wing.
This great tall giant 'gainst the sky
beautifies the day,
As o’er the lea the farmers plod,
To their long and weary way.
Many things just thrill me,
But the prettiest thing to see
Is the thick, long green leafed
branches
Of a gerat, green, beautiful tree.
