Mr. and Mrs. Lester Halley moved
to Reynolds last week where Mr. Hal
ley has accepted a position with Mr.
C, H. Neisler of that city.
Mr. Halley had been principal of
the school at Mauk for five years
and he and his wife had greatly en
deared themselves to their friends
who regret very much for them to
leave our community.
They were quite an addition to the
religious and social life of our com
munity and will he greatly missed in
the churches and Sunday school as
well as in the school room. However,
we wish for them happiness and suc
cess in their new fields of labor. As
Mr. Halley stated that he didn’t think
he would follow the teaching profes
sion any more.
Reynolds is to be congratulated in
securing Mr. and Mrs. Halley as citi
zens.

fully entertained with a picnic at Mc-

o’clock. A delightful picnic supper
