both ill.
Mrs. T. J. Fountain, who has been
sick for several weeks, is much im
proved to the delight of her many
relatives and friends.

man who is a patient at the Vet’s
Hospital in Atlanta.

Mrs. Earl Wright is attending the
U. D.. C. Convention in Macon this
week. She is a delegate from the
Gordon Carson Chapter.
Mrs. Mattie Hill, who is sick at
the home of Mrs. Willis Saunders,
had her son, Mr. Elbert Hill of Ma
con a sher guest Sunday.

attend a birthday dinner for Mrs.
Tinsey’s mother, Mrs. W. C. John

Mrs. Chas. H. Horton and children
Marianne and Sally, have returned
home after spending ten days in
Fort Valley and Macon and attend
ing- the bedside of her sister, Mrs.
John F. Lowe, Jr., who has been se
riously ill at the Oglethorpe Infirm
ary Mrs. Lowe will be remebered as
Miss Annie Jarrell in Taylor county
and she has many friends and rela
tives here and elsewhere who will
be interested to learn that her con
dition is said to be “fair.”
League Conncil Meets
The Epworth League of the Rey-
lolds Methodist church held their
first Council Meeting at the home ot
Miss Evelyn Griffith. The council is
composed of the following officers:

We are very enthusiastic in our
League work and invite all the
young people to join us. The League
meets every Sunday night at 6:45.

Sunday School Class Entertained
Mrs. R. D. Waller and Mrs. J, W,
Lancaster entertained recently at the
home of Mrs. Waller in honor of the
young people’s Sunday School class.
Games and music were enjoyed tor
awhile after which the hostesses
served sandwiches and tea to about
thirty guests. Wish we could have
