Nominating Committee is to get an

The insurance on the parsonage
was discussed as the premium is due
in 60 days. It was decided to pay this
from the Circles.

HOLDS REGULAR MEET
Following the usual custom, . the
Jennie Barrow and Sally Anthony
Circles held their November meeting,
which is the last meeting of the year,
in a joint session at the home of
Mrs. H. K. Sealy. Mrs. Sealy and
Mrs. Gray Hicks were hostesses.
The business meeting led by Mrs
Irene McDonald was opened with a
song and a prayer.
The devotional program was led
by Mrs. C. E. Whatley, who gave an
inspiring talk on “Let Us Give
Thanks”. Mrs. Jim Brewer gave a
i-'election from The Outlook. It was,
"How Shall We Pray for Japan and
China?” by John R. Mott.
Tiie Lord's Prayer was given in
unison.
Refreshments were served by Mrs.
Saly and Mrs. Hicks.

The Central 4-H Club held its
regular monthly meeting Nov. 15th
at the school building. The meeting
| opened by singing ‘ ‘Smiles.” Then
the roll was called and minutes read.
Next, a review of the clothing ex
hibit with a discussion on what to
bring for the next meeting.
The first year girls are finishing
their towels and plan to 'begin theiT
aprons at the next meeting. The sec
ond year girls are finishing their
emblems and are making plans to
begin their slips. The third and
fourth year girls are selecting pat
terns and materials for their
