An appropriation of approximately
$37,000 for the construction of a
government airport at Butler has
been announced by the Civil Aero
nautics Authorities. •
This amount is much larger than
appropriations granted for construc
tion of similar airports in cities the
size of Butler.
Work was begun in the local air
port about two months ago and up
to the presnt time much work has
been accomplished.
