At Methodist Church
The business meeting of the Wo
man's Society of Christian Service
was held at the Reynolds Methodist
church Monday afternoon. Following
the opening song, call to worship
and prayer, Mrs. Jim Brewer gave a
most helpful devotional on Steward
ship. She made imperative the fact
that we shall have to give account of
not only our Stewardship of pos
sessions and gifts, talents, etc., but
our time and how we use it. Out of
a whole day, how few minutes do we
spend reading God's word and real
ly praying? She ended with a true
story that showed that genuine love
leads to selfless giving. An affirma
tion of Stewardship was read in
unison.
The usual order of business fol
lowed, then our delegate, Mrs.
Swearingen, gave a splendid report
of the Fitzgerald meeting of the
conference organization meeting of
