Til alas we reach the “Eternal
We see so much of beauty fair
Goal.”
In nature, love, in all so free;
We learn to love things this way
And woe to enemies of liberty.
But if we do not careful be
We may awake in time to find,
That all the beauty and things so
free
Thru our mistakes are left be
hind.
But even in pride we won't forget
To do the things we know are
good;
For us this is the only way,
It is the way our fathers would
And for us all things are well,
Just to know that you arc there
To know you care for us so true
Is abiding confidence anywhere.
Respectfully,
Henry Posey.
