W. H. VanLandingham and Harry
Collins. The hotel was built 56
years ago by Captain Caleb Pea
cock and has been within the fam
ily since it was built. Mr. Collins, a
member of the firm, is a relative
of the Peacocks.
The new owners plan to mod
ernize the structure. Both the
interior and exterior will be re
painted, a dining room will be ad
ded and thfee meals will be served
daily.
