Miss Sue Kirksey, Elected
Vice-President of LaGrange
College Student League
In the interest of good and clean
government for Georgia, tudents
at LaGrange College recently or
ganized a Student League for
Good Government. Miss Sue Kirk
scy of Reynolds was elected vice-
president of the League, and is to
! be in charge of publicity.
| There are two main purposes of
the League for Good Government
I One is to get every person who is
eligible to vote to register. The
| registration campaign at LaGrange
'■ College has been highly success
! ful. A second purpose of the
| League is to inform the students
j as to the backgrounds and plat
forms of the various gubernatorial
j candidates, and to see how each is
l qualified to give Georgia good and
i clean government
Although 15 LaGrange students
attended the Carmichael rally in
, Moultrie May 11, they have not as
! yet come out for any particular
; candidate. It is expected, however,
I that they will soon endorse one
specific candidate, who, in their
opinion, can and will give Georgia
good and efficient government, and
of whom they will never be
ashamed.
