A very interesting subject will be ^
heard in the Christian Science serv
ices Sunday as the title of the Les
son Sermon is “Adam and Fallen
Man.” You are invited to attend ,
services which will will be in the G
Christian Science worship through- k
out the world. i a)
j Paul had much to say about this
'subject, in his letter to the Rom
ans. The Golden Text of the Les-
son includes one of his state-T
ments: “If by one man’s offence Jy
death reigned by one; much more
they which receive abundance oi
grace and of the gift of righteous-
i ness shall reign in life by one,
j Jesus Christ.” (Rom. 5:17).
■ Among the many inspiring Bible
i references on this subject is anoth
er of Paul’s statements. For to be
carnally minded is death; but to
be spiritually minded is life and
peace.” (Rom. 8:6).
i Also in the Lesson-Sermon will be
I explanatory statements from the r
Christian Science textbook, “Science
| and Health with Key to the Scrip-j
I lures by Hary Baker Eddy. One is
i as follows: “Popular theology takes 1
| up the history of man as if he be- j,
j gan materially right, but imme- i (5
diately fell into mental sin; where-
| as revealed religion proclaims the
science of mind and its formation
as being in accordance with the
first chapter of the Old Testament 1 jg
when God, mind, spoke and it was;
done.” (p. 557).
