Will be sold before the court
house door of said county within
the legal hours of sale to the high
est bidder for cash on the first
Tuesday in February, 1953. the fol
lowing described property, to-wit:
A one-fifty-sixth (1/56) undivided
interest each of certain minor chil
dren hereinafter referred to in and
to the following described land:
A certain tract of land lying
and being in the county of Taylor,
State of Georgia, and known as q
part of land lot No. 20 in the 15th
land district of said county. And
being the land more recently known
as the land of Alex Searcy on
which the said Alex Searcy lived
and died and being designated as
the east half of lot of land No. 202
and bounded on the north by lands
known as the Cosby Place; on the
east by lands known as the Cald
well Place; on hte south by lands
of J. T. Parker and west by lands
of J. K. Morgan and known as the
old W. C. Willis Place.
The same to be sold under and
by virtue of an order from the Court
of Ordinary of said County
granted on the First Monday in
January, 1953, upon the application
of Christine Searcy in her capacity
as guardian of the following minor
children: Ralph Searcy Jr., Harold
Searcy, Doris Searcy, Carolyn Sear
cy, Virginia Searcy, Carl Searcy and
Carlene Searcy for the purpose of
maintenance, support and educa
tion of said minor children.

By virtue of an order granted by
the Ordinary of sai dCounty on the
First Monday in January, 1953, will
be sold on hte First Tuesday in
February, 1953, before the court
house door of said County, within
the legal hours of sale, to the high
est bidder for cash, the following
described lands, to-wit.
Lots Nos. 154 and 165 in the 14th
land district of Taylor County,
Georgia, containing 405 acres, more
or less, and formerly known as the
Griffith place.
Said lands will be sold as the
property of C. P. Seay, late of said
County, deceased and will be sold
for the purpose of paying debts
and distribution.

Thomson, Ga., Jan. 8—The four
minister sons of Rev. T. A. Burrell
—widely known Georgia Baptist
minister, officiated at his funeral
in Stellaville Thursday.
The funeral was conducted at
the Ways Baptist church by Rev. T.
C. Burrell, Dr. A. J. Burrell, Rev. J.
T. Burrell and Rev. A. B. Burrell.
The father died in Louisvile, Ga.,
at the age of 68.
For the past 17 years he had re
resided on Wrightsboro Road near
Augusta.
The renowned minister was born
in Clayton, Ga., where he lived for
16 years. He then moved with his
parents to Abbeville, S. C.

as administrators of B. H. Parks,
deceased has applied to the Ordi
nary of said County for leave to
sell land belonging to the Estate of
R. H. Parks, deceased, for hte pur
