"Safe Driving Day”

Atlanta, Ga.—Gov. Herman Tal
madge has proclaimed Dec. 15 as
safe Driving Day in Georgia after a
meeting of a special committee in
Atlanta to make plans for the day.
The proclamation was issued by
Gov. Talmadge after President
Eisenhower made a network broad
cast appealing for a nation-wide,
accident free, 24 hour period.
The planning group, made up of
outstanding public and private of
ficials, is headed by John Maloof,
director of the Georgia Ciitzens
Council.
