her body in an accident last Feb.

48, Carrollton native who once
served as pyhsician for Georgia
Tech’s football team, was found
dead in his apartment.
Detective Brown said a bottle
of sleeping pills and a note ad
dressed to his estranged wife say
ing “this is the only way out’’
were discovered by a member of
the doctor’s family.
The Fulton county coroner’s of
fice said that it would render a
decision on whether the doctor
died from an overdose of sleeping
pills.

Glinda L. Peavy was awarded
$1,500 Monday in Macon City Court
in a damage suit seeking $45,000
against E. S. Dixon.’ The suit
brought by her father, J. D. Peavy
as next friend, claimed the child
suffered permanent injuries as re
sult of being struck by an automo
bile driven by Dixon Feb. 4, 1955.
