3 WAYS!
It’s a fact! You can actually save money by buying your new Ford now
during our Summer Bandwagon Sell-a-bration . . . now while we’re giving
top “Sell-a-bration” deals! You save 3 ways!
In the first place, you get the car that sells more because it’s worth
more. The ’55 Ford features styling inspired by the Thunderbird . . .
reassuring, quick-action Trigger-Torque “Go” . . . and a brand-new, smooth-
new Angle-Poised ride. There’s nothing like it on the road!
Next, you get more money for your present car because we’re out to
chalk up new sales records and we want your business! Fords are selling
at a leadership pace and you get the benefits. And remember this—your
present car will never be worth more in trade than it is right now!
In addition, you may expect an
extra dividend later. For years, Fords
have returned a higher proportion of
their original cost at resale than any
other low-priced car.

Taylor County Land
Owners Should Place
Orders for Seedlings
Order your forest tree seedlings
for the coming Fall and Winter
planting season, early.
That was the advioe given this
week oy Austin Guinn, Ranger of
the Taylor County Forestry Unit,
as he reported seedlings orders
now are being accepted by the
Georgia Forestry Commission.
“More than 100,000,000 seedlings
will be produced by the Commis
sions four nurseries in anticipation
of the 1955-’56 planting season,”
the Ranger said, “Despite this
large production, however, the de
mand probably will be as it has
been for the past several years—
even greater than the supply. For
that reason, we of the local county
Forestry Unit are urging all farm
ers and landowners of this area to
insure their needs being filled by
ordering promptly.
The Ranger said that the Geor
gia Forestry Commission, in the
interest of fairness to all concern
ed, operated its nurseries on a
first come first served basis.
For that reason those who order
now will be assured their orders
will be filled in the planting sea
son.
Seedling prices, including cost of
transporting to a central point in
the county, are as follows:
Slash, long leaf, loblolly and
short leaf pine s all .$3.25 per 1,000;
Arizona cypress and red cedar,
$6.25 per 1,000. The cost is reduced
25 cents per 1,000 if seedlings are
picked up at nursery.
Species recommended for plant
ing in Taylor county are slash and
loblolly. Order blanks may be
picked up at the Forestry Unit
