Running after women never hurt :
anybody—it’s catching them that
does the damage.
Pvt. Thomas Pierce, member of
the Army Reserves, left Thursday
for two weeks training at Ft. Jack-
son, N. C.
Reverend, said an admiring
female member of the congrega
tion at the close of service one Sun
day, I thought you ought to know
that I come to these services only
because of your sermons. They are
so wonderful that you ought to
have them published in a book.
Oh, I don’t know said the min
ister with his usual modesty. I am
not sure that my sermons deserve
tha% much attention. Perhaps they
will be published posthumously.
Well, then, said the woman en
thusiastically, I hope that will be
real soon!
