Get Top Honors
Atlanta, Ga. — Two Georgia ne
gro youths received top honors in
the field of agriculture at the 26th
annual New Farmers of America
Convention.
Levi Crawford, 21, of Waynes
boro, was named winner of the
NFA's National Star Superior
Farmer Award and was presented
a S500 check from the FFA Foun
dation. He is a member of the
Waynesboro H. & I. NFA Chap
ter.
W’illie Frank Hughes, 17, student
at the J. W. Holly High School,
Omega, was named sectional win
ner of the NFA Farm Mechanics
Award. He received a check for
$100.
