Dear Mrs. Edwards:
I am Elsie Cox (Mrs. E. O.) and
was Elsie Turpin’s aunt, her moth
er’s sisters. Her parents are deadd.
Elsi’s family has been very close
and dear to us, and we are grief-
stricken. We can’t find words to
express the gratitude in our hearts
for you, your husband and the
people of Butler. We call you “an
gels of mercy.” Lynn and the two
children arrived safely and Carter
was taken to Medina Hospital, Me
dina, Ohio for two weeks. Lynn
will not be able to work for ten
weeks. We are grateful to you for
the tender care given Lyr.n Marie
and Carter by your family and the
friends in Butler. Lynn Marie is
very proud of her Easter clothes.
Lynn is grateful for everything,
but is weighted down with grief
and pain just now.
Elsie was a teacher and had a
class of seven year old children
waiting for her after spring vaca
tion. She had a large funeral and
