Contract Signed
For Nurses’ Home
Atlanta, Ga. —Plans for con
structing a 13-story nurses’ home
at Ga. Baptist hospital were an
nounced this week after signing
a contract for the $2,428,000 struc
ture with the Jordan Co. of Colum
bus.
The building will be known as
the W. P. Sewell Nurses' Home.
It will be paid for by gifts from
interested friends, and from future
hospital alocations in the Ga. Bap-

Rights Council president, Roy Har
ris has called for the abolition of
token integration in Georgia and
whipped up support for a ‘‘resegre
gation’’ movement.
Harris told $25 a plate States’

immediate and pressing problem
—“to resegregate Georgia and to
keep Ga. segregated.”
