Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Slaton were
hosts at a rehersal supper preceed-
ing the wedding rehersal of the son,
Gary, and Miss Billie Jones, on,Mill
Saturday evening. The supper was | M j ss
held at Crook’s Restaurant in Rey- '
nolds.
The tables were decorated with
dainty arrangements of summer
flowers. The centerpiece at the table
where the bride and groom were
seated was a small bride and
groom.
Covers were laid for the honorees,
the Rev. and Mrs. F. M. York, Mr.
and Mrs. W. H. Jones, Mr. and
Mrs. Thomas Hewitt, Royce Lynn,

their daughter, Patsy to Mr. Heath
Beeland also of Reynolds. The wed
ding took place Sunday, Sept. 17 at
Mt. Olive Baptist Church at Taylor
Perkins is a graduate of
Reynolds High School and is em
ployed by Motor Parts of Macon.
The groom is also a graduate of
Reynolds High School and is em
ployed by Taylor County Motor
Company of Reynolds.
Mr. Beeland is the son of Mrs,
J. M. Beeland and the late Mr. Jr.
M. Beeland of Reynolds. They will
make their home here.

Mrs. T. C. Robinson greeted the
guests as they arrived and Mrs. M.
H. Mitcham assisted in directing
the guests.
Later in the afternoon, the couple
left for a wedding trip to the
Smokies. For traveling, Mrs. Slaton
wore a suit of coffee cotton tweed
which was outlined in matching
braid. She wore a beaver hat with
shoes and bag in the same color.
Her corsage was of two white or
chids.

All dog owners in the City of Rey
nolds are required to have their dogs
fastened up for two weeks — Oct. 1 to
14 — during which time they must be
vaccinated in accordance with the
law.
All stray dogs will be eliminated
in City of Reynolds during this time.
