Hens on Georgia farms laid an
estimated 193 million eggs during
August. This is a record high for
the month and exceeds production
during August last year by 15 mil
lion eggs. This increase from last
year can be attributed primarily
to more layers on farms, although
the rate of lay was up slightly.
$2.00 will deliver the Herald to
that boy or girl in college during
the next nine months. Don’t you
think he would like to have it?
