Mrs. Frankie Lewis visited friends in Macon Friday. Mr. Lamar Rogers is a patient at the Macon hospital this week. Mr. Brer Russell of Unniversity of Ga., spent the week end with home folks. Mr and Mrs. H. W. Breazealle are visiting relatives in Florida this week. Mrs. J. H Brewer and Mrs. O. B. Bankston shopped in Macon Thurs day. Mrs. Nell Lucas and Mrs. Howard McR^e were in Leslie one day re cently. Mr. and Mrs. James Ricks and sons Jimmv and Billy, spent Satur day in Atlanta. Mr. Cecil Sawyer of Macon vis ited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Sawyer Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Stone of Butler were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Mims. Mr. Danny Lane of Auburn, spent the week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wade Lane. Mrs. W. T. Whatley has resumed teaching after a very painful brok en shoulder accident. Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Goddard left Monday for New York. Mr. Goddard is going for treatment. Miss Amelia Fletcher spent the ■week end with her mother, Mrs. Fletcher in Jackson, Ga. Mrs. J. A. Pendergrast, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Fuller and daughters shopped in Macon Saturday. Wayne Parks, U.S. Air Force is on a special assignment for 20 days in the Panama Canal Zone. Mrs. T. J. Hartman is in Macon with her daughter, Mrs. McElrath who is ill in the Macon hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Flanders of Atlanta, visited their mother Mrs. M. W Flanders during the week end. Mrs. F. M. Carson, Mrs. J. G. Hicks, Mrs. Hiers and Mrs. M. W. Flanders spent Thursday in Ma con. Mrs. W T. Ricks is spending a few days with her daughter, Mrs. Walter Clay, and family in Ma con. Mr Oscar Thompson and Mr. Allen Alexander of Atlanta, spent two days last week with Mr. F. A. Ricks. Mr. O. B. Bankston of Cogdell, spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Troy Athon and Mrs. Bank ston. Mrs. H. E. Cosey of Thomaston, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Van Livingston and Mrs. Ham mock. Misses Laurice and Winnie Ault- man were Sunday guests of Capt. and Mrs. Andy Dahl at Warner Robins. Miss Pat Montgomery of Macon - spent the week end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clopers Montgomery. Mr. and Mrs. Robinson and fami ly of Atlanta were week end guests of Mrs. Robinson’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Bond. Mrs. D. T. Montfort was admitted to the Macon hospital a few days ago. Her many friends wish for her a speedy recovery. Mr. Will Parks is on special as signment from Warner Robins Air Force Base at McGuire Air Force Base, New Jersey. Mrs. Patsy Grosnell and Mrs. Peggy Cleghorne of Warner Rob ins spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Roberson. Mr. R. E. Aultman is at home from the Phoebe-Putney hospital, Albany, and is much improved his friends will be gratified to learn. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Hinton and Mrs. Paul Hodges, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bell, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Forsling shopped in Macon Thurs day. Mr. and Mrs Gosses and daughter, Miss Doris Gosses will be the week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jackie Payne and Mrs. D. W. Payne, Sr. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Childre took their baby to Johns-Hopkins Hos pital, Baltimore, Md., for treat ment. They left on their mission last Saturday. Miss Susan Cosey of G. S. C. W., jMilledgeville and Second Lieuten ant Tony Martin of Camp Gordon, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cosey and family. Mrs. C. W. Hoats is ill with pleurisy at the home of her daugh ter, Mrs. Robert Cosey. Her many friends wish for Mrs. Hoats an im mediate recovery. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Whatley, Dr. and Mrs. Edward Whatley and family, Mr. and Mrs. Julian What ley and family spent Sunday at Lake Blackshear. Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Barrow and daughter, Jan, Mrs. L. T. Bar- row, Mrs. Louise Reid and daugh ter, Anne Buford of Macon visited Misses Marie and Etta Mae Barrow Sunday. Friends of Miss Elda Blackmon will be interested to learn that she has been moved to the hospital in Ft. Valley and is improving after undergoing surgery in Macon hos pital. Mr. and Mrs. David Walker and three daughters, who are Mission aries from the Congo, who are at home on furlough stationed at Statesboro, presented phases of their work at both the morning and evening worship hours Sunday at the Reynolds Methodist church. They were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Goddard and family. Rev. and Mrs. Virgil Culpepper and Miss Rebecca Culpepper and Mrs. F. M. Carson were also dinner guests of the Goddards. Kiwanis G. C. Tourney Playoff FOR SALE, CHEAP The finals of the Kiwanis Golf Club of Reynolds match play club championship tourney were com pleted on Feb. 18th. Mr. Mac Marchman closed out his two nearest rivals on the 17th ihole. Mr. Andy Borders runner-up nosed out Mr. Wade Lane who placed third in the tournament. In the women’s division Marion Newsom won over Cat Brady by closing out on the 16th hole. The new club match play cham pions were presented their trophys by Pro-Curt Hammond after the tournament. Mr. Hammond also announced a new tournament to be played on next Sunday. A Scotch Tournament where names will be drawn for part ners tournament day.
