Youth Dies in
’Cycle Crash
Old Testament sacrifices and Old
Testament prophecies had pointed
forward. This is the hour to which
the redeemed will look back with
gratitude and praise for the ages
to come. There would have been
no salvation for sinners without it,
nor any hope of a restored earth
with the curse of sin removed.Thank
God, because Christ was willing to
face the dreadful hour “We have
redemption thru His blood, the for
giveness of sins according to the
riches of His grace” (Eph. 1:7).

Coastal Bermuda grass, now
growing on more than a half-mil-
old high school student was_ fatally | lion acres of Georgia land, still of-
fers an excellent opportunity for
Georgia farmers to expand their
grass land agriculture, according
to J. R. Johnson, head of the Ex

injured in Jeffersonville Monday
when the motorcycle he was riding
turned over.
Another student, who was driving
the motorcycle was seriously in
jured in the accident.
The dead youth was identified
by Twiggs officers as Robert
Dominy of Danville.
The other youth, Jack Floyd, 17,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Floyd was
from Danville also. He sustained a
broken leg, cuts, bruises and oth
er injuries, records show.
Sheriff Earl Hamrick said the ac
cident occurred when Floyd, who
was driving the cycle, turned
around to tell Dominy to pick up
his feet and not drag them. As he
did the machine ran into a street
curb, traveled 75 feet, hit a utility
pole and turned over.

tions are given for producing
Coastal Bermuda for dairy cows:
Graze the grass in the growing stage
cut it each 28 days for hay produc
tion, follow soil test lime and fer
tilizer recommendations and graze
or mow often, never allowing the
grass to exceed 12 or 14 inches in
height.
Mr. Johnson said that the per
formance of Coastal Bermuda has
been outstanding in milk and beef
production and It is one of the I
best hay crops. Tests at Experiment'
Stations and experiences of farm
ers have proved it to be the most
efficient pasture plant Georgia has
for use of water and fertilizer.
Coastal Bermuda will produce live
stock feed cheaper per acre and
per ton than any other feed crop.
This hybrid grass should be
planted in spring and early summer
in North Georgia, and may be
planted on up into the fall in South
Georgia if sufficient moisture is
available.
