In a moment, the organist will strike a chord. There will be a sudden hush in the church, then the strains of the wedding march will peal forth and she will take her Sather’s arm and start up the aisle, her measured steps symbolic of the very real hesitation she will be feeling. j She would not be human if she did not hesitate. These steps she is about to take are the most impor tant steps of her life. She is poised on the threshold of another existence in which the pronoun she uses will be “We” and not "I.” Soon she will learn to think of another before she thinks of herself. Presently, she will come to know fully the meaning of the word “share.” As she moves forward, she falters for just a second. Then her step becomes sure, her lips curve in a smile, v The church through which she walks is dear and be-' loved to her—and so is the man who stands waiting for her beside the altar. Her marriage, blessed by faith, is beginning where all marriages should begin •—in the Church. * Copyright 1%2, leister Advertising Service, (nc„ Strasburg, V*. THE CHURCH FOR ALL . . . ■ ALL FOR THE CHURCH The Church is the greatest factor on earth for the building of character and good citizenship. It is a storehouse of spiritual values. Without a strong Church, neither democracy nor civili zation can survive. There are four sound reasons why every person should attend services regularly and support the Church. They are: (I) For his own sake. (2) For his children's sake. (3) For the sake of his community and nation. (4) For the sake of the Church itself, which needs his moral and material support. Plan to go to church regularly and read your Bible daily. PAGE FIVE Gray’s Serv. Station SINCLAIR GASOLINE & OIL TIRES, BATTERIES & ACCESSORIES WASHING, POLISH, LUBRICATION UN. 2-2955 BUTLER, GA. Gary Osborne Appreciates Directory Antioch Baptist Church Butler, Georgia June 6, 1962 To the Citizens of Taylor County: As pastor of the Antioch Baptist Church, I would like to express my personal appreciation to the merchants and businessmen of Taylor County for their deep concern in our county churches and in the lost souls in our community. I would also like to take this op portunity to urge the people of our county to attend and support their home church and urge the churches themselves to to work hand in hand with other churches for the all impor tant task of soul-winning. If you do not have a church home or church preference may I invite you to attend our church as often as pos sible. Antioch is located ten miles north of Butler on Highway 19. We are one of the oldest , if not the oldest church in Taylor County, having been found ed in 1829. God has richly blessed Antioch in that the church started off with services only once a month, and we now have services every Sun day. As a pastor in Taylor County I would like to offer my services to you at any time. Please feel free to call on me at any hour. Thank you again, merchants, busi nessmen and the Butler Herald for your concern in this matter. I remain, Yours in Christ, GARY A. OSBORNE, Pastor. TRINITY FREE-WILL CHURCH R. B.
