A rough estimate shows that tbe

year 1877 were, *3,222.00.
On the Tax Collector’s book we find
large insolvent list, We
greater diligence, on the part of the

The Records of the Commissioners
Roads and Revenues we find
kept. Some orders passed by the

these schools' were taught an aggregate of
nine hundreil and severity-six pupils, of
which six hundred and ninety-five were white
and two hundred and eighty-one were colored,
The average i«ost of monthly tuition for these,

amount for this purpos*, and the expenses
incident thereto, being three thousand one
