O Whereas certain petitioners have made their
application Roads to the Board of Commissioners of
and Revenue of said county praying an
order granting the establishment oP a new road,
commencing said road a few yards West of the
Polly Harrison house and continuing through
the lands of the said Mrs. Polly Harrison ana in
tersecting the old road at the Lick Skillet place,
thence the present road to Lexington ar.d Glade
road at oak tree near Burwell Salmons’ place;
and whereas said new road is clearly marked out
and reported to this Board as one of much public
utility and convenience. Now this is to cite and
admonish all persons that on and after the first
granted Tuesday if in January next said new road will be
no good cause is shown to the contra¬
ry. By order of the Board of Commissioners.

of January, Lexington in said county on the first Tuesday
in 1890, between the legal sale hours,
the following lots of land situated in said county
and said lots of land belonging to the estate of
George W. Callaway, late of said county deceas
ed, to-wit: 1st, One lot of land designated as
No. 1, containing one hundred and fifty-six (15(5)
acres, more or less, and bounded by lands W. T.
Howard, Place, Carter Holmes, a lot known as the
Home John J- Sims and Marion Hansford
2d. One lot of land designated as No. 2, contain
ing one hundred and thirty (1.30) acres, more or
less, and known as the Home Place of George
W. Callaway, deceased, and bounded by tract
No. Sand by lands of J. 1. Callaway and by
tract No. 1 and by lands of Carter Holmes and
J. J. Sims. 3d. One lot of land designated as
tract No. 3, containing one imddred and fifty
eight bounded and 61-100 (15S 61-100) acres, more or less,
and by the Home tract and lands of W.
A. Weatherh, J. M. Hawkins, and J. I. Calla
way. Plats of survey of all of said lots as made
by sale. Prof. T. B. Moss will be exhibited on the day

Administrator’s Sale.
B V virtue of an order from the Court of Ordi¬
nary of Oglethorpe county will be sold be¬
fore the Court-house door in Lexington in said
county between the legal sale hours on the first
Tuesday m December next all that lot of land
lying and being in the town of Crawford in said
county, containing two acres, more or less, on
the corner of Broad and Railroad streets,adjoin¬
ing lands of 8. 11. Stokely and others, with the
improvements thereon, consisting of two dwell¬
ing houses an 1 out houses, being the land where¬
on James A. Deadwyler, colored, deceased, re
sided at the time of lus death. Sold as the prop¬
erty of said James A. Deadwyler for the pur¬
pose of paying the debts and making distribu¬
tion among the heirs of said deceased. Terms

of land in said county, adjoining lands of W. B.
Hopper, G. A. Stewart and others, and contain¬
ing live hundred acres, more or less, and known
as the home place of W. A. Cunningham, dec’d,
and \\ hereon his widow now resides; the inter¬
est levied on being an undivided one seventh in -
tcrest in remainder after the termination of the
life or widowhood estate of the widow of said
W. A. Cunningham, dec’d. Said land levied on
as the property of J. It. Cunningham to satisfy
an execution issued from the Justice court of the

On reading and considering the petition of John
G. Gibson, nominated Executor of Susan M.
Wray, deceased, to prove in solemn form a paper
therein propounded as her last will and testa
ment, it is ordered that Mrs. L. Gox be and she
is hereby appointed guardian ad litem of the
minor children of Swepson Cox, deceased; that
Lewis N. Jones be and he is hereby appointed
guardian ad litem of the minor children of Wm. and
P. Rembcrt; and that Sallie P. Rernbert be
site is hereby appointed guardian Rernbert, ad litna deceased, of the
minor children of James C.
all named in said petition. It is lurther ordered
that all the heirs at law of said Susan M. show
; cause, if any they can, in the Court house at

court on the first Monday in February 1890, why
said paper should not be proved in solemn form
as the last will and testament of said Susan M.
