Mr. Cullen Misters, one of the
most practical fanners in Brooks
county, informs us that in opening
cotton land for the uurpose of bed
ding that he hitches to cnch traco u
common scooter stock, with opening
plow on it, without any single-iree, j
and puts two hands aftor one horse,
the hoi so walking in tho alley, or I
middle of the row, and each man on
the bed. In this way the rows can
be made two, three or four fee*, apart
and without any Injury whatever to
the horse. It saves to the farmer J
the w ork of one horse, ami is cer
tainly in keeping with tho progress
oi the times.

Georgia and South Carolina and that
