—Atlanta Post: Judge Logan F.
Bleckley is living in a ’og cabin that
he has had built, upon a mountain,
in front of tho town of Clayton, Ra
bun county, and facing tho grand
old Blue Ridge. He is living as a
hermit, all alone, save a companion
whom he has found In the moun

very intelligent. Judge Bleckly
does his own cooking, and the
neighbors say that he is engaged in
vyrting a book.
—Quit man Free Press.* On Tues
day last Judge Elijah Wade, who
resides about leu miles northwest
from Quitman, brought us a bunch
containing twelve grown cranges,
some ot them just ripening. On
the same limb, mixing with and sur
rounding the bunch of oranges, are
hundreds ot that most beautiful and
fragrant of all blossom—the orange
blossom. There are also myriads
ofbudsand young oranges all blend
ed together in beautiful and sweet
confusion, A delighiful perfume
pervades our entire office. What
a charming sight it is; the tender
bud in its immaculate purity arid
whiteness on the same branch and
close besides the full grown and
perfect fruit.
