Th*se Piils being composed entirely of
medicinal herbs, are of a most harm
less nature, while the extraordinary
virtues they possess have rendered
them universally popular in nearly eve
ry part of the world. The immense
success they have met w ith through
out the Stales is most extraordinary,
owing, it is presumed, to their wonder
ful efficacy in the cure of Bilious com
plaints and disorders of the Liver and
Stomach. Ptrsons who persevere in
using them in accordance w ith the di
rections, seldom foil in being restored
to health.

To Professor Holloway,
Sir: A Mr. Joseph Puxton, formerly
a resident of this place, had been in a de

three y ears, gradu.il'y wast ng away to
a shadow of nightly perspira ions and
want of appeti’e, which caused great un
easiness to his friends, as he had consult
ed various medical men in Bath, without
tflVct. He at last used your Pills, and
under Providence was restored to health,
by their means. He lately emigrated to
New Ycik, and has just written to ssy,
that 1 e was never better in health, and
desired me to acquaint you w ith the cir

that my wife had derived great benefit

Liver and Bilious Complaints i may men
tion the following case. A lady of this
town, with whom I am personally ac
quainted, for years was a severe sufferer
from disease of the Liver and digestive
organs; her medical attendant assured her
that he could do nothing to relieve her
suffer ings, and it was not likely she could
survive many months. This announce
ment naturally caused great alarm among
her friends and relations, and they in
duced her to make a trial of yonr Pills,
w hich so improved her general health that
she was induced to continue them until
she received a perfect cure. This is
twelve mouths ago, and she has not ex
perienced any symptoms of relapse, and
often declares that \ our Pills have , been
the means of saving her life.

Messrs. Scovil & Mead.—Gents: I
1 have been using your Liverwort, Tar

in my practice for three years past, and
it is with pleasure that I state my belief!
in their superiority over all other articles j
with which I am acquainted, for the pur

The Hebrew Piaster, especially, is an
universal panacea for local pains. 1 have
also found it a most excellent application
tor sprains and hiutses. It gives, univer
sal satisfaction wherever used.
