The Freewill Baptist revival meet- ,
ing, after running one week, closed ,
Sunday night with three new mem- ,
bera. Rev. E. C. Norris, of North ,
Carolina, conducted the services, ,
these being enjoyed by a large con- ;
gregation most every time. We are ,
awfully glad to have had Bro. Mor
ris with us and feel that he has
Teally been a blessing to our town.
We regretted very much to see our
'humble servant leave at the end of
this joyful week, but as God saw fit
to send him elsewhere, we think it
best for him to obey. He is gone,
’tis true, but may we all pray for
him wherever he may be. May God
bless him and be with him.
Card of Thanks.
May God at this time give me the
privilege to extend my most sincere
thanks to our town and community
for their kindness shown during the
brief illness of my beloved com
panion, as well as their seemingly
active desire to assist in any
way possible after his death, also
for the abundant iloral offering from
his devoted friends. May God bless
them every one and send to them
in addition to God a comforter and
friend in time of their bereavement
as he has blessed me in mine.
