Orders have been sent to purchase ev

be purchased in New York City, where
these deliveries are to be made.

The member of the House and Sen- j

brow beaten, insulted and outraged. :
To this was added, yesterday, the
crowning act of this Ku-Kluxelan. It
seems that J. E. Bryant, (Radical) in i
course of debate yesterday, alluded to i
Mr. Ephriam Tweedy as an “ iufn- i
djous lying scroundrel,” (thought by !
some to be a mild expletive.)
• When the House adjourned, Mr.
Tweedy met Mr. Bryant in the Hall
and demanded a retraction of abusive
language used by Mr. Bryant towards
him in the House. Mr. Bryant refus

Mr. Bryant’s face, and Mr. Bryant re
