CouuKNDAOi.it.-We admire the spirit and vig
or with which our farm?ra are preparing for the
next crop. The young and old seem alike de
termined to overcome the difficulties which sur
rounded them last year. We aduilro this spirit,
and when we see a young man from the country,
with pants in boot-tops, purchasing his supplies
/or the purpose of starting his crop, and proudly
way lug “ i’ll man a plow, a boo, an axe, a gio,
etc., this year, and see what virtue there ore in
my exertions,” we can but exclaim: “ There’s
life in the old land yet,” and fuel that old Ran
dolph will show her sister counties that her rich
and fertile fields are not to be neglected merely
for want ot u Bureau ” labor.
