been received here—1,860 bales

prices paid to day are 9 cents which
are fatly up to quotations from
abroad.
—8. E. Freeman is selling onion
•eta at 15 cU. per quart, or 30 cents
per gallon. Cheap.
—The Cuthbert Amateurs are
rehearsing lor the purpose of giving
another entertainment soon,

—We have been forced to leave
out several new advertisements this
week. Advertisers should send in

bogs than the ground pea.
-The colored Method ista in
Georgetown are building a new
charch. When completed it will
present quite a striking contrast
alongside of the old one. Their
white friends contributed liberally.

streets at five cents a stalk. It is
moaually large this year, and ia
