The all-day singing here Sunday was
a grand success. Rev. William Hen
ry and Mr. Charlie Hall, of Deep
Spring were present and Brother Hall
sang some of the sweetest music we
ever heard. Rev. Mr. Henry gave
a very interesting talk at 11 o’clock
in the forenoon, after which dinner
was ready and the services adjourned
until 1:30. After dinner the people
gathered back in the house and -fine
music was rendered by Charlie Hall.
Brother Henry then Introduced Rev.
J. I. Nichols, who made a very inter
esting speech.

HARMONY.
We are all still alive and in gay
spirits at present.
Our Sunday school is flourishing.
Instead of going into winter quarters
this fall we are just waking up. We
are to have a Thanksgiving celebra
tion on the twenty-fifth of this month.
Quite a number of recitations and
songs have been prepared for the oc
casion and we will probably have sev
eral speakers from Dalton, Eton and
Deep Springs. Everything possible
will be done to make the day a pleas
ant one. While everybody Is cordially
invited, we want to urge our neigh
boring Sunday schools, Pine Grove,
Union Point, Bethel, Dawnville and I
Free Hope, to be present. Of course
there will be dinner on the ground,
and plenty of it, such as pumpkin pie,
turkey, cakes, etc. Come everybody,
and be thankful with us. We’ll appre
ciate your presence and do our
to entertain you.

given, after which the people were

sition with R. F. Nelson at Pine Grove j
and will leave in a few days to take
charge of his new job. We wish him
