GREATEST MERCHANDISING EVENT IN DALTON |
Last week we told.you about having bought the $10,000 stock of H. & M. Goodfriend-
of Middlesboro, Ky. We have combined these goods with our already complete stock
which occupies two floors and when the people came they found much more than was
claimed in our advertising, and the consequence was hundreds of dollars worth of these
goods have already been sold. We know we have the most unparelleled offers in bar
gains ever made in this section and we are willing to submit our claim and statements to
your good sense and judgment. However, owing to the fact that this stock was shipped
in two separate cars, the last car reached us too late to open and include same in the
opening days of this
GREAT STOCK COMBINED SALE!
But we.are now ready to announce to the people of Dalton and vicinity that the entire stock is now open and displayed
on our counters so you can get your choice and share of our great sacrificing prices. Think of the celebrated brands of
Hamilton=Brown Shoe Co.’s shoes purchased at 55 cents on the dollar, and you are the direct beneficiariies of the “pie!”
A word to the wise is sufficient.
Just stop for a moment and think of the nature of our great purchase- These people above mentioned have only been in business since March 1.1909,
making their total business life only nine short months, giving them no time to accumulate old stock. Everything looks just as if from the factory-
Since receiving the second shipment we have rearranged the entire stock and store, and we will throw our doors open
with the greatest sale of the season, giving you outer wearing apparel at inside prices as you will note the following price list,
