We know that we will miss his
fatherly presence in our hall, and the
church and Sunday school will miss
him on Sunday, and the community
will miss his ministrations as a friend
and neighbor, for he was ever follow
ing the ’example of the lowly Nazarene
Whom he delighted to serve in going
about doing good, cheering the
visiting the sick and relieving the
needy.
Masonry always seemed to him to
be a building—an edifice constructed
of character and honor. We who
knew him know how well he raised hl3

as living in that new building—that
tabernacle of light just across the sil

Dalton, Ga„ Dec. 11, 1920.
Dear old Santa Claus:
I thought as I am a little girl only
5 years of age, I would get mamma to

can think of me, I will not ask very
much, as papa is not able to pay you
for a big load. All I ask you to bring
me is just a doll to play with and a
new hair ribbon and a pair of stock
ings. As mamma is not able to do
her work, I bring in all her water and
wood and coal, and I have a little sis
ter only 2 years old. She is not
healthy. Please don’t forget her.
So, bye bye, dear Santa,
Your little girl,
