I have been busy in school and did
not take time to write. I like to

We attended Sunday school today. We
are going to Easter exercises next Sun
day and have an egg hunt after our
exercises.
The fields and woodland are lovely
now. All are putting on a dress of
green. A great many flowers are in
bloom.
We were so sorry to hear of the
death of Mrs. Hudson. She will be
Missed in Dalton.
Most all have made some garden. It
begins to look as if we will have some
vegetables to eat in a short time.
We are very much in need of rain
just now; the roads are getting dusty.
If the fruit is not killed I think there
will be plenty of all kinds of fruit
this year. Some are afraid it will get
killed yet.

Mr. Charles Giddens, of Dalton,
made a business trip to Waring Mon

Mr. Bill Long is now kept pretty
busy at his grist mill, and he will soon
have his sawmill ready for action. He
also has a cut-off saw for sawing wood,
so he has enough to keep him busy now.
