Put Your Money in the Bank
<J A few days ago the home of a fanner living a few miles east of
Borne, Georgia, was burned— ,
If The farmer had $520.00 hid away in a cigar box in the house.
This money was destroyed—
Cf. This regrettable experience of the faimer goes to illustrate the
inadvisability of keeping money at home—
€J In fact there is no safe place outside of a goodjbank for the keep
ing of money—
Cf lf it is kept at home it is subject to loss by fire or burglary—
CJ If it is kept in a bank the loss of the money by either fire or by
burglary is not a loss of the depositor at all—
4| We invite you to place whatever money you may have in this
bank, where it is absolutely safe and where it is subject to your
check at any time.

ORCHARDISTS SHOULD BE
ALERT TO DANGER OF
LEAF-ROLLER.
The fruit-tree leaf-roller has be
come a very serious pest in many
orchards of the country during the
past few years.
Wherever the worms were at all
abundant last year, they may be ex
pected again the coming summer.
The eggs were laid in small, gray
patches on the smooth bark of the
trunks or limbs of the trees last sum
mer, where they remain over winter
to hatch in the spring. These eggs
begin hatching just as the leaf buds
on*the apple trees begin to burst and
show their green color. After the
worms hatch, it is very difficult to
successfully destroy them. They are
best controlled by thorough spraying
early in the spring, before buds be

Get Ready for Hot Weather
By Purifying the Blood
Many people simply melt in sum
mer. They can’t work or enjoy life.
They lack vitality. Ten to one
their blood is impoverished.
Rich, wholesome blood is the
basis of vitality. If you
have it, you sturdily
withstand summer tem
peratures. But if your
blood is poor, loaded with
poisons that should be
cast out, you are limp
and useless in “shirt
sleeve” weather.
To avoid this, get from your
druggist S.S.S., the famous vege
table blood tonic and alterative. It
is just the thing for poor blooded
people.

the proportion of one gallon to

as free from alkali as possible in
order to secure a thorough emulsion.
It will require from eight to ten

Relieve Your
Rheumatism
For 25c.
NR does it by improving -
digestion, assimilation
and elimination —
the logical way.
NR Today—Relief or No Pay
There are three vital processes of
human existence,—the digestion of
food, the extraction of nourishment
from it and the elimination of the
waste.
Let anything interfere with these
processes,—let them be interrupted or
improperly carried on, and sickness
of some kind follows.
Poor digestion and assimila
tion means failure to derive
full nourishment from food and
that in turn often means im
poverished blood, weakness,
anemia, etc. Poor elimination
means an accumulation of waste
matter which poisons the body, lowers
vitality, decreases the power of re
sistance to disease and leads to the
development of many serious ilia
Rheumatism,—due to some interfer
ence with the process of elimination,
failure to get rid of certain body
poisons,—cannot be expected to yield
to any medicine that fails to correct
the condition responsible for it Could
any reasonable person expect to rid
himself of rheumatic pain as long as
rheumatic poison is allowed to re
main in the body.
Think of this. It explains the suc
cess of Nature’s Remedy (NR Tab
lets) in so many cases where other
medicines have failed. Thousands are
using NR Tablets every day and get-
- ting relief. Why pay five or ten
times as much for uncertain
things? A 25c box of Nature’s
Remedy (NR Tablets), con
taining enough to last twenty-
, five days,—must help you, must)
give you prompt relief and sat-
, isfactory benefit or cost you
nothing.
And Nature’s Remedy Is not only
for the relief of rheumatism. It im
proves digestion, tones the liver, reg
ulates kidney and bowel action, im
proves the blood and cleanses the
whole system. You’ll feel like a new
person when you’ve taken NR Tablets
a week. You’ve tried the expensive
medicines and doctors, now make the
real test. You’ll get results this time
