We are so thankful for the good
rains we have had. It has changed the
looks of everything; the crops look
fine now, and. if nothing happens, there
are going to be lots of bread made. I’ll
tell you it!s grand to live on the farm,
we think; but lots of city people will
disagree with us. Now our time has
come for vacation, and hear in mind
that the crops don't stop growing be
cause we stop, but they keep growing
just the same. The melons will soon
be ripe, and my! 'how good they are.
We have to work for what we' have;
but we don't mind that at all. City
folks work too, but they have to
scratch the bottom of their pockets for
everything they eat. We farmers may
not look quite as “purty” as the city
folks; hut we don't want to make any
change.

Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Donaldson went

The revival services began Monday
at the Methodist church here. Every-

for he can surely tell us lots of good
things.
We are thinking of having our chil
