Roxbury, Mass.—“I suffered contin

relief since using it. My back is much
better and I can sleep well. I keep
house and have the care of five children
so my work is very trying and I am very
thankful I have found the Compound
such a help. I recommend it to my

Sometimes they are tight at the elbow,
hut at that point they begin to flare,
and at the bottom are nearly as wide

The human system is forever striving to get
rid of the waste products. It is a life-work
which goes on forever. When waste products
get in the blood, they cause a lowered vitality.
As a result, we become subject to many pain
ful and embarrassing ailments.
When these symptoms appear, Nature is
warning us. To throw off the waste products,
the blood must be purified. Don’t clog your
blood. Just clean it out. Nature will do
the rest. Pure, rich, red blood nourishes the
body and fights off disease.

J. N. Leonard, a popular taxi driver,
will be a candidate for police chief in
the December city election. Mr. Leon
ard made this positive statement to a
representative of The Citizen this
week, and his announcement adds inter
est to the approaching race.
So far, Mr. Leonard and County
Warden Nelson have stated that they
will offer for chief, and this insures a
warm campaign for the office, for both
have friends who will work for them.
Then/ others may come in later, for
there’s plenty of time.

there’s every indication of plenty at
interest for the people.
ONE BRAND’
ONE QUALITY’
One Size Package
All our skill, facilities, and lifelong knowledge of the
finest tobaccos are concentrated on this one cigarette—
CAMEL.
Into this ONE BRAND, we put the utmost quality.
Nothing is too good for Camels. They are as good as it’s
possible to make a cigarette.
Camel QUALITY is always maintained at the same high,
exclusive standard. You can always depend on the same
mellow-mild refreshing smoothness—the taste and rich
flavor of choicest tobaccos—and entire freedom from
cigaretty aftertaste.
And remember this! Camels come in one size package
only—20 cigarettes—just the right size to make the greatest
saving in production and packing. This saving goes
straight into Camel Quality. That’s one reason why you
can get Camel Quality at so moderate a price.
Here’s another. We put no useless
frills on the Camel package. No “extra
wrappers!” Nothing just for show!
Such things do not improve the smoke
any more than premiums or coupons. And
their added cost must go onto the price
or come out of the quality.
One thing, and only one, is responsible
•for Camels great and growing popularity
—that is CAMEL QUALITY.
