visiting their aunt, Mrs. F. E. Clem
ents, and family.
Mrs. Willis Calloway, of Dogwood,
attended the B. Y. P. U. at this place

Willie Lou Winn and children, of Dal
ton, were visitors to Rocky Face Sun
day.
Mr. S. S. Calhoun spent last week in
Cartersville and while there attended
the Bartow county fair.
Mrs. Christine Hammontree. of Chat
tanooga, was the guest of Miss May
Bridges Sunday.
Messrs. Sam Tompson and Joel
Xnckls, of Mill Creek, were at the
B. Y. P. U. Sunday night.
Next Sunday afternoon is regular
singing day at^this place. Everyone.'

Arthur E. Cook is private secretary
to Secretary of Labor Davis. Mr. Cook
is only twenty-five years of age, and
has been in the government service
since 1914, being in the United States
diplomatic service for two years.
The Whitfield County Singers’ asso
ciation will meet next Saturday at
Center Point for the annual fall con
vention, which is being anticipated
with interest and pleasure by the
lovers of sacred sing. The convention
will last through Sunday.
Prof. Williams, president of the or
ganization, will preside over the meet
ing, and the public is cordially invited
to attend.
