The next dose of calomel you take may salivate you. It may shock-your liver or start bone necrosis. Calomel is dangerous. It is mercury, quicksilver. It crashes into sour bile like dynamite, cramping and sickening you. Calomel attacks the bones and should never be put into your system. If you feel bilious, headachy, consti pated and all knocked out, just go to your druggist and get a bottle of Dod son’s Liver Tone for a few cents which is a harmless vegetable substitute for dangerous calomel. Take a spoonful and if it doesn’t start your liver and straighten you- up better and quicker than nasty calomel and without making yon sick, you just go back and get yonr money. Don’t take calomel! It can not be trusted any more than a leopard or a wild-cat. Take Dodson’s Liver Tone which straightens you right up and makes you feel fine. No salts necessary. Give it to the children because it is perfectly harmless and can not salivate. “COLD IN THE HEAD” is an acute attack of Nasal Catarrh. Those subject to frequent “colds in the head” will find that the use of HALL’S CATARRH MEDICINE will build up the System and render them less liable to colds. Repeated attacks of Acute Ca tarrh may lead to Chronic Catarrh. HALL’S CATARRH MEDICINE is taken internally and acts through the Blood on the Mucous surfaces of the System, thus reducing the inflammation and assisting Nature in restoring normal conditions. There are so many of us who think of the holidays as a time for pleasure of this world, and do anything for pleas ure whether good or evil; but I think we should be like the poet who wrote the words of the good old song, “Near er, My God to Thee,” for that is the birthday of God’s Son who was sent to redeem a lost world from everlast ing punishment. So I think the young people ought to be taught that Christ mases a time for worship and not for sinful pleasure.
