Three tables were arranged for the game, Mrs. W. E. Mann making top score and being awarded first prize, an incense burner. The consolation, Mary Garden face powder, was cut by Mrs. W. M. Hardwick. Her lovable disposition and pleasing personality have endeared her to a wide circle of friends. The San Souci dub, of Adairsville, entertained Wednesday of last week, in compliment to Mrs. W. C. Martin, of this city, president of the Seventh Dis- trist Federation of Women’s clubs. In addition to Mrs. Martin, Misses Willie White and Elizabeth Denton, of this dty, were guests. The affair was in the attractive club- rooms of the dub at Adairsville, and was a~progressive dinner, called “The Feast of Seven Tables.” Each table was artistically decorated, the first being in white, the second in red, and then, pink, green, russet, silver and. yellow.
