Died —On last Tuesday n orning the corpse ol Mr. Charles Luuceiord was conveyed to this city and interred in the cemeteiy. Mr. Luuceford was betinaud raised near Colaparchee in this county. He loaves a large number of relatives and friends to mourn his premature death. Charley was uni versally kuown ard liked, and his former associ ates will miss his genial face and approving smiles. The Atlanta Herald gives the following particu lars of hit death: ** When the iutelV,genes of Mr. Charles R. Luncefcrd’s untimely death was made known, the whole town was saddened. W; doubt if there was a more popnlar tnau in the city—known and iuvtd by everybody. Many are the friends that mourn his death. The circumstances connected with his unexpected death were about these: About 8 o’clock on night before last he was struck with a stroke ot apoplexy, while standing on the corner ot Redwiue fc Fox's drug stote. He was then re moved io the National Hotel, and lingered be tween life and deatu until mcruiug. Ue drew his last bream about 5 o’clock.
