A rumor which amounts to a pos¬
itive reality is agitating the southern
cotton manufacturers to-night, which
is of much more vital importance to
the southern states than the short
time movement. Read the item be

the following particulars will be real¬

cotton mills by a syndicate of English
and eastern capitalists for their pur¬
chase, with a view of combining all
their interest in one control or trust
company in the same manner that
the cotton seed oil mills have hereto¬

now in the hands of southern cotton
manufacturers..
