In Loving Memory of Bunn Alexander I write a simple tribute to the memory of th ; s most estimable young man who died Sept. 26, 1910. On Monday morning, Sept. 26 just.as the glorious sun was spread 1 mg its rays ut light, bringing the ridings that a new day had opened to us, a day to some full of light, love and happiness; to others a day of untold misery. With the coming of the morning's sun, Bunn got his arm wounded so badly in Jossev’s and Maynard’s giu, till during the afternoon the an¬ gel ot death stopped in our midst, hovered arouud the angelic form of our dear friend, Bunn, bade him come to join the angel band and sing praises unto His name forever. On the wing of that beautiful Sept, afternoon his spirit took i }B heavenly flight, leaving his loved ones heart-broken in grief for one who had made home a Paradise on earth ; one who had put nothing but love and sunshine into the lives of the inmates of his happy home. God knows best; to him we must look for comfort. He will be a friend and will give strength to bear this affliction. As a dear friend we esteemed and honored him. With a heart full of willing love, we lay this flower on his grave. If nobility of life is to be meas¬ ured by piety, by gentle words and by deeds of kindness, then the cemetery tonight holds no truer man than Bunn. It will not be long before we will meet again. It is hard to lose our Joved ones by death, but how much better that they should go when it is for their eternal gain. Yet the sands of life have fallen and the silver c’ord has been loosed and he now sleeps the sleep that knows no waking. His presence will cheer no more, his counsel will be shared no more, his public spirit will give its utterances not again. His record has been made and he has gone to his reward. He was hurried at the Dewberry cemetery. Rev. Bunn Holland and Rev. Hunt conducted the service and Bpoke touchingly of the nobil¬ ity of the man whom all had gathered together to honor. He was loved by all that knew him. Now his life’s work has euded, what a glorious record he has made! May we all take his life bb an example. To his family I extend my heartfelt sympathy. I know something of what they have lost, especially do I feel for ■ his heart-broken mother, but dear friend, God above can give you strength to bear your burden. He is always ready and willing to help those who trust in Him. So go to Him who will help you on through life’s jouruey and fi¬ nally bring you to the pearly gates, where your loved one will be waiting to meet, never to part again. Little Nannie. For when the stomach is weak or diseased there is a loss of the nutrition contained in food, which is the source of all physical strength. When a man “doesn’t feel just right,” when he doesn’t sleep well, has an uncomfortable feeling in the stomach after eating, is languid, nervous, irritable and despond¬ ent, he is losing the nutrition needed to make strength. Such a man should use Dr. Pierce’s Golden Medical Discovery. It cures diseases of the stomach and other organs of digestion and nutrition. It enriches the blood, invigorates the liver, strengthens the kidneys, nourishes the nerves, and so GIVES HEALTH AXD STREXGTH TO THE WHOLE BODY.
