GRIFFIN (NEWS
HAS GONE MAD
Because Griffin’s Correspondents Are So
Far Behninl Paul Williams.
That energetic correspondent
at Jaliettp, Ga., whois eternally
furnishing special dispatches to
the State papt: s containing Griffin
news items under a “Juliette,
Ga.,” date line should be sup
pressed ,4. puts Griffin in a bad
light. Grist u has some good cor
respondei'ts .nd frequently when
they sendk >d, live news stories
with a Griffin date line they are
sadly disappointed to have these
dispatches ‘ cut out” by the State
news editors of, the city papers.
And yet this Juliette man, after
a careful perusal of the Griffin pa
pers, writes long stories and gets
them printed in the city papers
under a “Juliette” date line.
Sometimes his stories are sensa
tional and do the city of Griffin a
great injustice. He is a space
writer and gets his pay according
to the amount ^f matter that ho
gets printed and while we do not
desire to cutout penny out of his
salary we do not think that he
ought to invade the Griffin terri
tory, since Juliette is far away
from Griffin and he cannot pos
sibly furnish “up-to-date and re
liable news’from this city and
continue his residence in Juliette.
; The wonder to vs is that the big
papers publish Ms matter and then
deliberately cut >ut the news when
it is sent from Griffin by paid and
reliable repreS'i tatives.
To the state pa peas we plead
please supp is- hat Juliette cor
respondent whc sends the news
from Griffin wit a “Juliette date
line. He is attuctiug the atten
tion of the who! State and every
body is wonderig where is Juli

The Advertise is of the opinion
that Griffin is a mailer town than
Juliette in neipaper reporters
and, unless Grilu correspondents
send the news t'the state papers
and save Paul Viliams this trou
ble, it won’t being before the
people of the «..te won’t care

Take Care!
Remember that when your kidneys are
affected, your life is in danger. M.
Mayer, Rochester, N. Y. says: “My
trouble started with a sharp shooting
pain over my buck which grew worse
daily. I felt sluggish and tired, my
kidney action was irregular and infre
quent. I started using Foley Kidney
Pills. Each dose seemed to put new
life and strength into me, and now I
am completely cured and feel better
and stronger than for years.” Red

Mrs. D. Gilkeson, 326 Ingles Ave.,
Youngstown. Ohio, gained wisdom by
experience. “My little girl had a se

gave her relieved the inilamation in
her throat and after using only one
bottle her throat and lungs wore en

then I always keep a bottle of Fogey’s
